Ingredients


Makes: 4 appetizers or 2 main-course servings
  • 24 large frozen uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 C (250 ml) chopped spinach leaves
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
  • 2-3 tsp (10-15 ml)
  • crushed chilies – optional
  • Toasted sesame seeds – optional

Preparation


 
  • In a large microwave-safe bowl (not melamine), mix first 5 ingredients together. Microwave on medium-high for 1 minute. Remove and stir well.
  • Microwave for another 2–3 minutes, until shrimp are just cooked through. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
